I can't believe I did that.
I didn't post Tuesday or Wednesday! I missed Make-Things-Up-Tuesday! Well, I'm going to MAKE UP for missing it! (Get it? No? Okay.)
The story that I chose on Tuesday was sent in by Emma, my little sister. This is it:
"A yellow piggy bank fell into a big puddle of mud it ate a potato and the mud came off of it. Then fireworks came and it was back to normal. He was just a normal pig like that."

So congratulations on getting that one in there, Emma!
News from Yesterday.
I went to a Christmas Party last night for the BEST PROGRAM I'VE EVER BEEN IN, CIVIL AIR PATROL, and I had made a desert for the baking contest that they had had. (I made Classic Spritz Cookies.) And I came in THIRD PLACE! I won a 15-Dollar Gift card for Wall-Mart. Cool!
Remember what Today is?
It's Talent Thursday! :)
So for today, I'll tell you something that is great for creativity and assignments alike. They are called lap books.
Here is what you need.
So for today, I'll tell you something that is great for creativity and assignments alike. They are called lap books.
Here is what you need.
- A file folder
- The ability to fold.
OH - KAY! Here we go. Here are your steps.
- Take your file folder.
- There should be three lines in the middle of the file folder. Fold it the flaps to the very middle line. Make sure the fold is secure.
Here are your optional items:
- A pencil, pen, or marker.
- Scissors
- Glue
And that is it! Cut and paste information into the file folder or write the information down manually. And walla! There is your lap book. They are super easy and fun to make.
